Miss Norway is the original Norwegian beauty pageant, qualifying winners to the global beauty contests Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Europe, Mrs World, amongst others. The current organization has been running the contests since 1983. Mr. Geir Killingland (1953 - 2009) founded the organization and arranged the Norwegian beauty contests for 25 years. Friends and family of Mr. Killingland has taken over the legacy, and the contest for 2009 is planned to start in November.

Miss Norway 2009/2010

As a result of a very special year for the organization, the Miss Norway pageant for 2009 has been delayed. It will, however be a combined search for Miss Norway 2009 and Miss Norway 2010. Registration is now possible through the site. During the first part of 2010 we will start looking for suitable candidates among the profiles, based on voting and judgement by professionals.

We are working on a complete site in English for the international public and market. It will contain information about beauty pageants and models, but another goal is to increase knowledge of our wonderful country and Norwegian design, products and services in general.
